Southeast Collegiate Partake in the Environmental Litter Activity

On April 12th the Southeast Colligate SWAT team and other students gathered to learn the harmful effects of the litter left behind by smoking.  As part of the lesson the students participated in a cigarette butt pick up.  It was a beautiful day to be outside!  The most common thing I heard from the students was “I had no idea there was this many cigarette butts laying around”.

I hope to get the students out more often to collect butts and other garbage.
